The mission of the Department of Inclusive Education and Behavior Science is to prepare special educators who will critically evaluate, select, and apply evidence-based practices to effectively identify, assess, and instruct learners with exceptionalities with sensitivity and compassion across educational settings in collaboration with families and other school professionals.
