The Undergraduate Real Estate Minor, consisting of six courses (18 credits), is designed to appeal to a broad range of students, both within and outside the School of Business who have an interest in real estate practice.

Non-finance students, who have no prior knowledge of finance or real estate, should strongly consider this minor, before venturing into the task of preparing for the CT State Real Estate Brokerage Licensing Exam. The minor provides knowledge in property valuation, real estate law, and real estate brokerage鈥攕kills valuable in both residential and commercial settings.

Careers

The Undergraduate Minor in Real Estate prepares graduates for a range of careers in the Property and Real Estate sectors. Graduates may work for real estate firms, and property management companies. With experience or licensure, graduates can advance into roles such as real estate broker, real estate asset manager, real estate developer, or pursue further education in the discipline.
