Program Features
91¹û¶³´«Ã½â€™s Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness Coaching is a four-year university degree program that prepares students for a wide range of wellness coaching careers. With coursework focusing on coaching skills, nutrition and weight management, health promotion, chronic disease management, and more, students will be well-prepared for the certification exam. Students will be able to start their careers or continue to graduate work in complementary health professions. Our program is housed in the Department of Public Health of the College of Health and Human Services. As an interdisciplinary program, the program is aligned with both the Health & Movement Sciences and the Recreation, Tourism, and Sport Management programs. Our faculty are known for their advising and student-engaged research opportunities.

91¹û¶³´«Ã½, Dept. of Public Health - B.S. in Health and Wellness Coaching is an Approved Health and Wellness Coach Training Education Program by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC). Graduates of this program are eligible to apply for the HWC Certifying Examination to become National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC).
