You also have the opportunity to get hands-on money management experience through our student-managed investment fund.

Curriculum Overview
Core Finance Courses
The details of our required finance courses are as follows:
- Corporate Finance: Focuses on financing and investment decisions in firms, as well as issues concerning corporate governance.
- Investments: Covers financial instruments such as stocks, bonds, options, futures, and the management of asset portfolios. Students who choose to specialize in Investments & Portfolio Management, may then apply this knowledge in gaining hands-on money management experience through our student-managed investment fund.
- Behavioral Finance: Helps in building a solid foundation on the topic of investor behavior.
- International Finance: Provides a theoretical and practical understanding of foreign currencies, exchange rates, arbitrage conditions, as well as currency risk management using currency derivatives.
- Financial Markets and Institutions: Provides a thorough understanding of the financial principles that govern the banking and financial industry, both in domestic and global financial environments.
- Financial Modeling: Trains you to handle a wide variety of financial problems/issues using Excel spreadsheets.
Specialization Tracks
In addition to the required finance courses above, our students are required to choose one specialization track from the following five options.
- Treasury Management and Banking: Financial Risk Management, Commercial Banking, Treasury Management, Entrepreneurial Finance and Venture Capital
- Investments and Portfolio Management: Introduction to Futures and Options, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Business Valuation, Practicum in Investing
- Financial Risk Management: Financial Risk Management, Quantitative Methods in Financial Risk Management, Introduction to Futures and Options, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management
- Big Data Analytics and Fintech: Financial Risk Management, Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning Applications in Finance, Fundamentals of Fintech, and Fintech Seminar. This new track focuses on data analytics with big financial data, financial risk management, blended with machine learning applications in finance and Financial Technology. The track is designed to provide students with expertise in Financial Risk Management, Financial Technology, and Financial Data Analytics
- Real Estate Finance: Principles of Real Estate, Real Estate Finance, Urban Economics, and Seminar in Real Estate

We offer daytime and evening classes, so that our class schedule may be wrapped around the work schedule of our students. Faculty hold office hours both in-person and online.
